Shimon HaberUNION CITY, N.J. – Shimon Haber, a real estate developer, was sentenced today to five months in prison and five months of home confinement for conspiring to launder money for political contributions to a Union City official in exchange for official approvals, United States Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.

Robert Waters Elementary School in Union City, New JerseyUNION CITY, NJ - Four more students at Union City's Robert Waters Elementary School have been diagnosed with swine flu, bringing the total number of cases in Hudson County now to five. All of the infected students are second graders.

The K-8 school grade school, comprised of roughly 1,300 students and located on Summit Avenue at 28th Street, was the site of the first confirmed case of swine flu in Hudson County. According to Superintendent of Schools Stanley Sanger, that first infected student, a second-grade boy, was tested last Thursday, May 14, and the H1N1 virus was confirmed the following night.
