NORTH BERGEN, N.J. - Hal Turner, an intermittent internet radio talk show host and blogger, was arrested on Wednesday by FBI agents at his home in North Bergen, New Jersey, on a federal complaint filed in Chicago alleging that he made internet postings threatening to assault and murder three federal appeals court judges in Chicago in retaliation for their recent ruling upholding handgun bans in Chicago and a suburb.

HARTFORD, Conn. - A North Bergen, New Jersey Internet radio host, who urged readers of his blog to "take up arms" against Connecticut lawmakers, surrendered to Connecticut authorities on Thursday and was charged with inciting violence against three public officials in that state.
Harold "Hal" Turner, a former radio talk show host accused of being a white supremacist and anti-Semite by a number of anti-racism groups, was enraged about proposed Connecticut legislation that would give lay members of Roman Catholic churches greater control over parish finances. |

NEWARK, NJ – The former president of a health professionals labor union pleaded guilty on Wednesday for her scheme to illegally borrow more than $14,000 from the union, Acting U.S. Attorney Ralph J. Marra, Jr. announced.
Kathleen Fonti, 55, of Rochelle Park, pleaded guilty before U.S. Magistrate Michael A. Shipp, to a one-count Information charging her with improperly receiving loans from a labor organization. |

NEWARK, NJ — The NJ TRANSIT Board of Directors advanced the nation's largest new public transportation project into the construction phase last Wednesday by unanimously approving the first of numerous contract packages for the multi-billion-dollar Mass Transit Tunnel (MTT) initiative.
