OxyContinHOBOKEN, NJ - Three people have been charged in connection with an attempt to buy OxyContin from a Hoboken pharmacy using a stolen prescription pad, police said.

Andy Rodriguez, 18, of Union City, Miguel Alonso, 53, of West New York, and a 17-year-old Union City girl were arrested by police outside the pharmacy after the pharmacist became suspicious and called the doctor's office for verification, according to police.

crack cocaine & marijuana drug bust in Hoboken, New JerseyHOBOKEN, NJ - Two Hudson County men were arrested in Hoboken on Thursday night and charged with drug offenses, polise say.

Timothy Bracero, 35, of North Bergen, and Jose Arzuaga, 34, of Hoboken, were reportedly observed at around 7:15 p.m. smoking what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette on Bloomfield Street between 5th & 6th Streets by a plain-clothes Hoboken detective.
