UNION CITY, NJ - Four more students at Union City's Robert Waters Elementary School have been diagnosed with swine flu, bringing the total number of cases in Hudson County now to five. All of the infected students are second graders.
The K-8 school grade school, comprised of roughly 1,300 students and located on Summit Avenue at 28th Street, was the site of the first confirmed case of swine flu in Hudson County. According to Superintendent of Schools Stanley Sanger, that first infected student, a second-grade boy, was tested last Thursday, May 14, and the H1N1 virus was confirmed the following night. |
