The New Jersey-bound Holland Tunnel will be closed to traffic due to a roadway improvement project. Motorists are advised to use the Lincoln Tunnel for access to New Jersey.
Monday–Thursday, June 7 – June 11, 11:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. the following morning:
One lane will be closed to traffic for routine maintenance.

Monday–Thursday, June 8–11, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning:
The eastbound lower level will be completely closed to traffic due to roadway repairs.
Friday, June 5, 11:59 p.m. until 8 a.m. Saturday morning
The westbound lower level, and the ramp from the northbound West Side Highway to the westbound lower level, will be completely closed to traffic due to routine maintenance.

TO NEW JERSEY (WESTBOUND)

Due to routine maintenance, the New Jersey–bound north tube will be closed. Customers are advised to access the Lincoln Tunnel via the center tube using entrances at 36th Street and 9th Avenue, or 30th, 31st or 33rd Streets between 9th and 10th Avenues.

Wednesday, May 27 11:00 p.m. to Thursday, May 28 5:00 a.m. (6-hour period):
Inbound GWB: All lanes of the I-95 approach to the GWB will be closed. Traffic will be diverted to Route 46 eastbound, due to routine maintenance. The lower level, which is normally E-ZPass Only during these hours, will be staffed to handle all transactions.

Tuesday, May 26 to Thursday, May 28, between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.:
Outbound GWB: the westbound lower level, and the ramp from the northbound West Side Highway to the westbound lower level, will be completely closed to traffic due to routine maintenance.

Friday, May 22 to Sunday, May 24, 11:59 p.m. until needed:
One tube of the Lincoln Tunnel will be closed in both directions, inbound and outbound, for routine maintenance. Weeknights, two additional tunnel lanes in each direction will be closed at 12:30 a.m., traffic permitting, one lane in each direction will be available.

Monday, May 25 11:00 p.m. to Tuesday, May 26 5:00 a.m. (6-hour period:)
The New Jersey–bound north tube will be closed for routine maintenance. Travelers are advised to access the Lincoln Tunnel via the center tube using entrances at 36th Street and 9th Avenue, or 30th, 31st or 33rd Streets between 9th and 10th Avenues.

Tuesday, May 26 11:59 p.m. to Wednesday, May 27 4:30 a.m. (4.5-hour period):
All lanes of the New Jersey-bound Lincoln Tunnel helix will be closed for roadway repairs. Motorists will follow detours for access to the New Jersey roadways.

Tuesday, May 26 to Thursday, May 28, between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.:
One tube of the Lincoln Tunnel will be closed in both directions, inbound and outbound, for routine maintenance. Weeknights, two additional tunnel lanes in each direction will be closed at 12:30 a.m., traffic permitting, one lane in each direction will be available.

The New Jersey-bound Holland Tunnel will be completely closed to traffic every Saturday and Sunday mornings from 1:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. through fall 2009, due to a roadway improvement project.

Motorists are advised to use the Lincoln Tunnel for access to New Jersey during the above times.

UPDATE - FRIDAY, MAY 22: The Holland Tunnel will remain open this weekend in observance of Memorial Day.

Late night station closure at 33rd St.:
The passageway from PATH to New York City Subway Lines N and R will be closed daily from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Please use the entrance at 34th & 6th Avenue during these times.

Sunday Evenings - Christopher St. and 9th St. station closings for cleaning:
The 9th Street station is closed on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month from 11:59 p.m. Sunday until 5:00 a.m. Monday for thorough station cleaning.
The Christopher Street station is closed on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 12:00 midnight until 5:00 a.m. for thorogh station cleaning.
If a month has a 5th Sunday, neither station is closed for cleaning and no cleaning is done on holidays.
