The seven alleged "kingpins" arrested last week were Rashawn Bruce, 33, of Jersey City; Gregory Shannon, 26, Jersey City; David Wooten, 36, of Jersey City; Marcus Clark, 25, of Jersey City; Haven Abdullah, 26, Newark; Angelo Colon, 32, of Belleville; and Roy Brady, 33, of East Orange. |

JERSEY CITY, NJ - Federal and Hudson County authorities have arrested more than 45 people in connection with an alleged fake check ring based in Jersey City which victimized local businesses by making counterfeit payroll checks.
According to authorities, the ring is believed to have stolen more than $140,000.00 in northern New Jersey and New York. |
