Police action to bring the man to custody comes after Lever allegedly shot dead three individuals, two adult women and one adult man, Wednesday morning at a mobile home park.

Authorities from multiple agencies and a helicopter were involved in the search for a man police identified as 52-year-old Kenneth Dion Lever of the Pensacola, Florida, area. They told who see him not to approach him and call 9-1-1 immediately, as he's considered armed and unsafe.

Authorities say he fled into the woods after the shooting shortly after 8 a.m. Investigators reportedly believe it was a domestic-related incident, reports Al.com.

Gardendale police, Kimberly police and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office have set up a perimeter.

In that case, a 6-year-old victim at the time accused Lever of sexually assaulting her beginning in June 2005, the York Dispatch reported. According to the department, a protection from abuse order was issued against Lever in Jefferson County just previous year.

Police in Lower Windsor Township confirmed they arrested Lever in 2015 on child sexual abuse charges.

A Lincoln Navigator included in previous vehicle descriptions has been located in Florida and is no longer suspected, Walker said.

According to Associated Press reports, Lever's ex-wife, Dana Lever, had filed a protective order against him because she said he was harassing and stalking her and their juvenile daughter. "He is considered armed and unsafe", Gardendale Police said. The girl had been seeing a therapist, who reached out to the mother with some concerns.

He posted his $100,000 bail in the first case and was arrested again several days later on October 15 in the second.

Walker said later that the manhunt could be anywhere in Alabama or the Florida Panhandle.

The cases are scheduled for jury trial in York County Court of Common Pleas on September 11, according to online court dockets. 'My daughter has a different disposition when she returns home, ' the woman wrote.

'She is very clingy to me and will not let me leave her.
