With that result, "Wonder Woman" will see its ten-day domestic cume pushed north of $200 million and its worldwide cume pushed north of $400 million.

Q: Would you be interested in a bigger role in the DCEU than director?

Wonder Woman is in theaters now, followed by Justice League on November 17, 2017; Aquaman on July 27, 2018; Shazam on April 5, 2019; Justice League 2 on June 14, 2019; Cyborg on April 3, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps on July 24, 2020.

A movie theater in the Palestinian city of Ramallah has made a decision to refrain from screening this month's #1 movie around the world, Wonder Woman, which stars Israeli model and actress Gal Gadot for what appear to be politically motivated reasons.

The film eclipsed $100 million on its opening weekend in the USA, and has brought in another $30 million since that time.

Finch attributes some of the film's success to director Patty Jenkins, suggesting that female directors have an innate sense of what makes female characters tick.

Wonder Woman has gotten DC on the right track and if the future films can stay at the same standard then there is hope for the franchise. "I really felt that Wonder Woman approached everything she did because she just had this enormous love for humanity", says Finch, who teamed with husband and longtime DC illustrator David Finch for the 18-issue run.

Q: What other DC Superhero would you like to work on if you were given the opportunity? Sure, every body is different but you'd think after training for her whole life she'd look less like a Victoria's Secret model and more like a boxing champion.

Gadot has spoken publicly about her time in the Israeli military.

Frankly, I was loath to see the movie shift from the idyllic island of Themyscira, with its invisible shroud of protection and robust tribe of Amazons, to the dank, dark streets of London; however, once Diana rescues the downed World War I pilot, and the Amazons vanquish the Germans chasing him, her objective is clear. There could have been no better choice for Amazonian Queen and her sister than veterans Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen who are wonderful in every scene they are part of. "It's that rare water-cooler movie where we're hearing anecdotally about people going to see it three, four, five times".

"She's basically telling the guys, 'No, I can do this".

Anyway, here's more proof that "Wonder Woman" is a good movie and/or getting noticed: Some of Marvel's "Avengers" are tweeting about the movie.
