Monday, June 5th Forecast: Warm start with showers later this week

Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 86. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Tuesday morning and into the afternoon there could be up to 4 mm of rain with wind gusts of around 40 km/h and a high of 16 C.

The cold front responsible for this will be passing through Monday night, and it will deliver a good chance for rain showers and possibly a few thunderstorms. Monday looks to have temperatures close to 90 degrees and it remains clear with plenty of sun.

THURSDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures continue for Thursday, with a high temperature of 73 degrees, and spotty rain showers. High of 85 and low of 74. Mostly cloudy. Breezy. Temps north 66-70, south 71-76.

Tonight: Partly to Mostly Cloudy, Isolated Showers (20%).


Partly cloudy skies will follow into tonight, along with patchy fog after 3 a.m. Showers & storms will be likely on and off through the day.

Thursday should stay in the mid 70s with low humidity and cloudy skies, before the start of a attractive weekend. Winds will be shifting from the northeast as the low pressure system works it's way east, starting to filter some cooler, drier air in the region by overnight Tuesday.

Saturday, the high will be near 87 with mostly sunny skies, the weather service said.

Very early indications are that Friday will be sunny with highs in the upper 70s.
