While the 6.2-inch Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus should appease most phablet fans, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is likely to have an even larger screen, along with twice as many rear cameras. The Note 8 is also not the largest Samsung smartphone on the market, however, as the South Korean company released a 7-inch Samsung Galaxy W, which never made it to the American market. Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus made its debut globally in the U.S. last month.

Finally, the date is here, and it is official. The actual Indian retail price of the two devices is unknown at the moment and will be unveiled at tomorrow's event.

Samsung has finally gone ahead and un veiled its Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus in India. The pricing for these phones might be very close to those price tags.

The extent of the Samsung Galaxy S8 issue remains unknown, but the issue could post as another challenge for the tech giant after it went through a worldwide public scrutiny after Galaxy Note 7's battery exploding problem. The smartphones also come with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, and support 256GB expandable storage through a microSD card. Also, the curved display on the front of the devices makes it very hard to replace the front glass without destroying the display.

The dual-camera setup, according to Kuo, will be the "most important upgrade" in the Galaxy Note 8.

On the camera side of things, the things are unchanged from the previous year. On the front, there is an 8MP camera this time around, again with the same f/1.7 aperture. Apparently, Samsung won't be able to flawless technology that would let it embed the sensor into the display - that was the original plan for the Galaxy S8 series as well. One major difference between the Galaxy S8 and S8+ you should know is the battery size.

The team also had big issues with the glass on both the front and back sides of the new phones. iFixit claims that Samsung used strong adhesive on both sides of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, which makes it hard to get inside the phone.
